Free drum class for kids

Would your child like to learn some real drumming tips and tricks? Join our free weekly zoom class for beginners! Your child will learn how to play and practice like an advanced drummer. We cover topics like grip, tempo, counting, and how to play along with songs.

This class is free every weekend!

We’ve been hosting this class for free since 2020. It’s a great way to have fun with music and drumming every weekend.

30 minutes each week!

You’r child can look forward to our consistent weekly drum lesson for a half hour every Saturday.

Kids with special needs are welcome

Some of our students have special educational needs. We welcome anyone with diverse abilities into our class. If your child has special needs we would love to have him or her join our group!

This class is fun and easy

Everyone in our class learns to play the drums at their own pace. We work to make the class fun for everybody. We teach foundational techniques with no pressure, using fun activities and music.

Stuart is a special education teacher

Stuart is a patient and encouraging drum teacher. He has a master’s degree in special education. He has years of experience in and out of the classroom.

You don’t need to own any drums

Is your child curious about the drums? She or he can join the class without any experience or equipment at all! Most of our students only have drumsticks and a practice pad. This is a great way to see if drumming might be fun for them. It’s easy to get started!

No attendance requirement

It’s totally fine for your child to miss classes whenever you need to. This is an informal and fun class, with no pressure.
